Send to CAM

The Send to CAM function allows you to open the current model in the associated CAM package.

Access

• In the Designer tab, click the Send to CAM icon.
• Start typing Sen... in the Quick Search field and select Send to CAM from the result list.

Note: If the Send to CAM option is not available on the menu, you will need to add it to a new tab using the Ribbon Customisation function.

Procedure

A session of the associated CAM package will be opened with the current model.

If the model is modified in Designer, click the Send to CAM button to refresh the version in the associated CAM package.

Note: The associated CAM package must be the same version as Designer.
